Icon Restoration was chosen to complete vital restoration and upgrade work for CityHousing Hamilton at 555 Queenston Rd, Cambridge. This project focused on improving the building envelope, enhancing interior living conditions, and ensuring long-term structural durability.

The Challenge

The residential housing complex required extensive upgrades to address aging infrastructure, improve energy efficiency, and enhance overall tenant safety and comfort. Our goal was to modernize the facility while maintaining structural integrity and minimizing disruptions to residents.

Building Envelope & Structural Repairs

To reinforce and protect the building, we completed:

• Exterior façade repairs, including brick repointing and concrete restoration

• Installation of high-performance waterproofing systems

• Insulation upgrades for improved energy efficiency

• Window and door replacements to enhance security and reduce heat loss

• Roof repairs and sealing to prevent leaks and water damage
