Icon Restoration was selected to complete essential restoration and modernization work at the Chancellor Community Centre in Vaughan. This project focused on improving the building envelope, enhancing interior spaces, and ensuring the facility remains a safe and welcoming hub for the community.

The Challenge:

The community centre required structural and mechanical upgrades to extend its lifespan, improve energy efficiency, and enhance accessibility. Our goal was to create a more durable, functional, and user-friendly space for visitors of all ages.

Building Envelope & Structural Enhancements:

To improve durability and efficiency, we completed:

• Masonry and façade repairs to restore the building’s exterior

• Application of advanced waterproofing systems

• Roof repairs and sealing for enhanced longevity

• High-performance insulation upgrades to improve energy efficiency.
